It's all gone! Next week, I'm going to begin recreating the Obliviana website, pretty much from scratch. A lot of the stuff that was on the website had been there for years. It was a big mess. So it made a lot more sense for me to bulldoze it than to try and conform the new site to the structures of the old site. And don't worry, your Fonostas will be back soon! All the current Fonostas are going to be totally valid in the new system. This is the last issue of OsoaWeek in Trick Sojourn 17. This has been a remarkable Trick Sojourn in Obliviana history. And I think that Trick Sojourn 18 will be even more remarkable! Get all Obliviana. ------------------- LUCKY STORM ----------- Lucky Storm 221: 128 (Flip 7, Dire 14, Storm Pelter "Patriot", Roptoon Stormpost 2) Previously: 209: 27 210: 126 211: 20 212: 140 213: 170 214: 175 215: 177 216: 83 217: 111 218: 77 219: 119 220: 100 Note: The Lucky Storm is drawn randomly, using a deck of 30 cards (called a "Storm Codex"), one for each Flip and Dire. ------------------- SONGS OF THE WEEK ----------- Carrie Engdahl, "Built-In Bookshelves" (Album: "Fuzzy Daupner") Carrie Engdahl, "Some In The Woods" (Album: "Fuzzy Daupner") Note: Carrie's my sister-in-law, and I'm currently producing her upcoming CD, "Fuzzy Daupner". ------------------- CARNE'S MOISTURE DETECTION FRIEND Episode Thirteen ----------- CARNE: My Moisture Detection Friend can be quite good at electronics when he puts his mind to it. Just last week, someone gave him one of those new-fangled birthday cards that plays "Happy Birthday" when you open it--you know--on a little electronic device. PACER: Yeah. CARNE: Well, he must have stayed awake for like two days reconfiguring the thing so it plays "Music to Watch Girls By" when you open it. It sounds pretty cool. And he was quite proud of himself for the accomplishment. PACER: What song is that? CARNE: "Music To Watch Girls By". It's a great song. It was... I don't know... Andy Williams or something. He sang it, at least. I don't know if he wrote it. I don't think he wrote it. PACER: Well, I guess we have to stop walking--this looks like the end of the road. CARNE: Yeah... I don't cherish walking back the same way, though. Maybe we should just keep on going. PACER: Well, I may be mistaken, but isn't that a massive wall of sticker bushes up ahead? I see many varieties of nasty thorns. CARNE: Yeah, but who knows? Maybe it's not as bad as it seems. And we're dressed for this Autumn weather. We might be okay. PACER: Oh, alright. Let's go. CARNE: Onward! ------------------- INFORMATION ----------- Obliviana is at "www.obliviana.com" Send all E-mail to "obliviana@aol.com" OsoaWeek is copyright 1998 Frank Edward Nora, Lord of Obliviana.
