LESSON FIVE -- STORM PELTERS

Pelters are abstract digital images that I have been creating for many years. Each Pelter is a 512-by-512 pixel RGB image. Out of the more than 600 Pelters I have designed, I chose the best 209 to be the Storm Pelters. They are shown (very small) in the Forge of Wander chart below. The purpose of Storm Pelter is to give each of the 209 Storms a little bit of personality. So, instead of just a number and few coordinates, each Storm has a unique graphic and name.
To fully appreciate the Storm Pelters, you gotta see them at full size. But even as JPEGs, they're pretty big (512 pixels at 72-pixels-per-inch (normal screen resolution) is 7.1 inches). Eventually, though, I hope to make them available for viewing at full size online.
